Friday night I had a photo booth event at the Main Event in downtown Cincinnati. This is an image of the 2 models that you could get your photo taken with.
A few more images of the studio. The building is a historic warehouse that used to house Hutch Sporting Goods.
A good quality profile picture is where most people gain their first impression of you. Make sure you are representing the best you possible.
I just got a new studio... Really excited.
Let the photos speak for themselves.

I had the opportunity yesterday to go out and do some pleasure shooting. I found an area with a few small lakes. It is always a good day when I'm photographing
As you may have noticed, the website has been completely redesigned. I am still working on it, but I guess it's always a work in progress. Like everything in life. We are always in constant state of growth and adaptation. When we stop growing that is when we die.
Here is my setup for headshots.
One thing I love about photography is capturing things that we go past everyday and don't give it a second thought. To bring those things to someone's attention, to help them appreciate the beauty that is around them that is taken for granted. Even if someone sees one of my images and thinks about that subject or feels something is a gift I don't take lightly. My mind has evolved in the sense that when I look around me I notice the light, shadows, composition and the movement or gesture of what is going on.... I think in terms of a photograph.
I have been enjoying a Christmas present that I received a book by Chris Orwig who is an amazing photographer titled Visual Poetry. This is one of those books where I am highlighting something on every page.... multiple things. I am trying to see the world differently. Every scene is a canvas filled with subject, color and light. I usually just see something that catches my eye and try to make a good photograph from that. Devil is in the details they say, and that has been the area my eye has always lacked. I am working on seeing as a photographer or an artist while not losing my sense of wonder for the world.
"Creativity doesn’t just happen. You have to go searching for it. You have to develop the skills of seeking, looking, and listening". Chris Orwig

Happy New Year! I haven't approached this new year with the retrospective on my life as I have in the past. I have only one goal in mind and that is doing photography. I got lazy in the past with taking my camera with me... while it's true I always have a camera with me (iPhone 6) which is descent, but it is not my Nikon. So I'm going to try to have my amazing camera, and the trinity of lenses with me at least 80% of the time. I'm going to work on my photography level. I'm constantly blown away by the calibre of images I see on 500px.com Let's say I am humbled by them, and strive to reach that level. I want to see and capture new things, and places. All while maintaining the bliss and health I have achieved in my life so far.
This also is an HDR shot inside St Peter in Chains Cathedral
I have a lot of techniques in my toolbox to create the images as close to what my eye sees as possible. An amazing camera with awesome lenses, and editing knowledge. I want to improve upon them this year.
Here are a few new images I have been working on.
